SWFObject WordPress Plugin
I wanted an easier way to embed videos in my blogs using
SWFObject so I decided to write a WordPress plugin which I’ve imaginatively named
SWFObject Plugin. The plugin replaces the following simple syntax:
[youtube D68ymfjpw98]
with the appropriate markup and Javascript. You don’t even need to install SWFObject in your theme, as it’s bundled with the plugin, but it’s only sourced in the page if the
swfobject is not already available.
The current version (0.2) only supports
YouTube and
Vimeo, but more will follow shortly.
